Beach or Mountains?

Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?

I prefer mountains with a cabin where I one day wish to be. One day in a hot tub surrounded by piles and piles of snow. After getting out of the hot tub to don the softest fabric known to man shaped to resemble a jumpsuit and tall fluffy socks. Dim lights, floor to ceiling windows with a fire waiting inside. Alone or with company with a blanket thrown over my legs and legs over the side of the arm of the couch. With a book in my hand. Turning my phone off. Muttering to be in a semblance of peace.

I can almost feel the steam rising from the hot tub, the weight of the blanket, and the quiet hum of peace in that cabin. It’s not just about choosing mountains over beaches; it’s about choosing solitude, warmth, and the kind of silence that lets your thoughts breathe.

This description makes the mountains sound less like a preference and more like a destination for the soul.
