More Than One Thing ✍🏿

What is one thing you would change about yourselfI

f I could change one thing about myself, it would be how I give so much love and protection to others while often neglecting myself. I rarely expect people to respect me the way I respect them, and I don’t always feel protected in return. I show love through gift‑giving, yet on special days — holidays, birthdays — I don’t always receive the same appreciation from those I care for most.

I’m ready to love in peace, because love should be the foundation of life, especially within your own home. I want to change how I care for myself — physically, emotionally, mentally, and beyond. As adults, we all have responsibilities, families, and careers, but just once I want to be considered without having to ask.

I know I need more, want more, and have more to give. Most of all, I want my life to truly feel like mine.

  1. It can be so hard to care for ourselves the way we care for others. Don’t stop caring for others. We need angels on this earth to show the love of Christ and to see the invisible. You may not see the fruits of your lovingness but it is making a difference. Love yourself the way you love others, one doesnt have to have less for the other to mean more. You are just as important as others! God bless you! -Brittany

    1. Thank you so much for those words — they truly touched me. It’s a reminder that even when we don’t see the fruits of our love, it still matters and makes a difference. I’m learning that caring for myself doesn’t take away from caring for others, it actually strengthens it. Your encouragement means a lot, and I’ll carry it with me. Thank you for reminding me that love for others and love for myself can coexist. Your words mean so much — God bless you too!
